Privacy Policy
The short version
REMEDIESHEALTHFITNESS (remedieshealthfitness.com) is a publication you read, not a service you sign into. We have no user accounts, no profiles and no reason to know who you are. We collect the small amount of technical data that keeps a website running and measurable, our advertising partners set cookies as advertising partners do, and if you email us we see what you chose to send. That is the whole shape of it. The rest of this page fills in the details honestly.
A note about health privacy, first
Because this is a health site, one point deserves to come before the boilerplate. The articles you choose to read here can feel sensitive: someone reading about anxiety, blood pressure or a symptom is telling their browser something personal. We want to be explicit about what we do with that: nothing. We do not build profiles of readers based on the conditions they read about, we do not sell or share lists of who read what, and we never attempt to infer anything about your health from your visits. Reading an article about a condition tells us nothing about you, and we keep it that way by design. Third-party advertising cookies are the one place your browsing intersects with outside companies, which is exactly why we describe them plainly below and in our Cookie Policy, and why you can refuse them.
What we collect automatically
When you visit, our servers and analytics see what almost every website sees:
- Your IP address, browser type and operating system.
- The pages you view, when, and the page or site that referred you.
- Approximate location at the level of a city or region, derived from the IP address, never precise location.
- Standard server logs kept for security and debugging, which age out on a rolling basis.
We use aggregate analytics to understand which articles are read and how the site performs. We look at this data as traffic, not as people: nobody here is examining an individual reader’s path through the site, and the analytics configuration we use does not give us a way to identify you by name.
What you give us directly
If you email support@remedieshealthfitness.com, we receive your address and whatever you wrote. We use it to reply and for nothing else. We do not add correspondents to any marketing list, and we ask you not to include health details in email, because we do not need them and an inbox is not a medical record system. If you send a correction or a tip, we may keep the thread as part of the record of how an article changed.
Cookies and advertising
The site uses a small number of cookies, in three groups: things the site needs to function, analytics that count visits, and cookies set by advertising networks that fund the site. Advertising cookies may be used by those networks to show you ads they believe are relevant, including on other sites. We do not hand advertisers your reading history; their cookies operate under their own policies, which is precisely why we let you refuse them. The full list, lifetimes and your controls, including the consent banner and browser settings, are in the Cookie Policy, which is part of this policy.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that make the site work: hosting, a content delivery network, analytics and advertising partners. Each receives only what its function requires. We do not sell personal data. We would disclose data in response to a valid legal demand, and if that ever happens we will comply no further than the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection. We honour the spirit of these rights for every reader regardless of jurisdiction, mostly because we hold so little that honouring them is easy. Email support@remedieshealthfitness.com with PRIVACY in the subject and tell us what you want. Be aware that for ordinary anonymous visitors we usually cannot identify which log lines are yours, which is a good problem: it means the data could not be used against you either.
Retention and security
Server logs and raw analytics age out on a rolling basis measured in months, not years. Email correspondence is kept as long as the conversation, or the article it concerns, stays relevant. We apply standard security practices to everything we run, including encrypted connections to the site, and we minimise what exists to be breached in the first place. No system is perfectly secure, and we will be straight with readers if an incident ever affects their data.
Children
The site is general-audience reading and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, this page changes first, with a dated note describing what moved. We will not quietly expand collection behind an unchanged policy. Material changes, such as ever adding accounts or newsletters, would come with their own clear explanation at the point of collection.
Questions about any of this: support@remedieshealthfitness.com, subject PRIVACY. This policy is governed by the laws applicable where the operator is established.
