About Us

Why this site exists

REMEDIESHEALTHFITNESS exists because the health internet has a signal problem. Search for a sore knee, a sleep problem or a question about protein and you will land on pages that were written to rank, not to help: recycled press releases, twelve superfoods that cure everything, and confident advice with no study behind it. Somewhere underneath all of that there is real research, published every week, that ordinary people never get to read in plain language. We built remedieshealthfitness.com to sit in that gap.

We are an independent health, fitness and wellness publication. We cover fitness routines and training, nutrition and food, home remedies, mental health, public health news, and summaries of new wellness research. Our promise is narrow and we try to keep it every day: when we tell you something about your body, we can tell you where it came from, how strong the evidence is, and what it does not prove.

What we cover

Our work is organised into a small set of sections, and each one has its own discipline:

  • Fitness. Training routines, mobility, recovery and the habits that keep people moving. We write for real bodies with jobs and joints, not for competition athletes.
  • Nutrition and Food. What the evidence actually says about macronutrients, diets, meal timing and everyday food choices, with the hype filtered out before it reaches the page.
  • Remedies. Home and traditional remedies, examined honestly. Some have decent evidence, some have none, and some are unsafe. We say which is which, every time.
  • Mental Health. Stress, sleep, anxiety, mood and the practical research around them, written without either stigma or false cheer.
  • News and Public Health. Outbreaks, guidelines, recalls and policy changes that touch how people actually live, reported from the primary announcement rather than from another site’s rewrite.
  • Research and Wellness. New studies translated into plain language, with the sample size, the study design and the limitations kept in the story instead of trimmed out for a cleaner headline.
  • Guides. Longer evergreen explainers that we revisit and update as the evidence moves.

How we work

Every article on this site starts from a source we can point to: a peer-reviewed paper, a statement from a recognised public health body, an official recall or guideline, or a named expert consensus. Before publication, an editor checks the claims in the piece against those sources, and the checks are strictest exactly where the stakes are highest. A story about a stretching routine gets a normal read. A story that touches medication, supplements, pregnancy, children or a serious condition gets a harder one, and if a claim cannot be traced to solid evidence it comes out of the article, not merely softened.

We are deliberately slow on miracle findings. A single small study on mice is a single small study on mice, and our headline will say so. When early research is genuinely interesting we cover it as early research, with the words that tell you how much weight it can bear. Our full process is described in our Editorial Standards and Fact-Checking Policy, and both are commitments we expect readers to hold us to.

Who we are

REMEDIESHEALTHFITNESS is run by a small independent team of editors. We publish as a desk rather than as a set of personal brands, which is a deliberate choice: it keeps the attention on the evidence in the article instead of on the personality above it, and it means every piece is a team product that at least two people have read before you do. We are not owned by a supplement company, a gym chain, a device maker or a media group, and no advertiser sees our articles before you do. The full picture of who pays for this site is in our Ownership and Funding page.

What we will not do

Some lines are fixed, and they are easier to state than most mission statements:

  • We will not tell you something cures a disease when the evidence says it might modestly help some symptoms in some people.
  • We will not publish fear to earn a click. Risk gets reported in absolute terms wherever possible, so you can tell a doubled tiny risk from a genuinely large one.
  • We will not let an advertiser, an affiliate relationship or a free product decide what we say. Commercial relationships are disclosed on the page where they exist.
  • We will not pretend to be your doctor. Nothing here is medical advice, and our Disclaimer says so in plain words, prominently, because it matters.
  • We will not quietly leave outdated guidance online. When the research moves, the article moves, with a dated note explaining what changed.

Talk to us

Everything reaches us at one address: support@remedieshealthfitness.com. Corrections are the mail we treat with the most urgency, because a wrong sentence about health is worse than a wrong sentence about most other things. If we got something wrong, tell us, show us the source, and watch the article change. That loop, more than anything else on this page, is what we think earns trust.
